St Margaret’s has been providing expert end-of-life and palliative care for adults and their families for over four decades.
As we continue to deliver holistic and compassionate hospice care, our aim will be to empower more people who have progressive life-limiting illnesses to live fully and die with dignity.
Help us raise £100,000 in 36 hours to help us reach people earlier in their journey with a life-limiting illness. We need to recruit Champions to spread the word of the appeal and ask their networks to donate.

Hazel was creative, caring, and always thinking of others. Even after her terminal diagnosis, she found ways to give back, from fundraising, to crafting handmade gifts for those she loved. In her final months, St Margaret’s Hospice became a haven of peace, comfort, and compassion. Her story is at the heart of our Every Moment Counts appeal.

After retiring early, lifelong Yeovillian Avril found renewed purpose by volunteering at our Yeovil Hendford shop. Nearly 20 years on, her story is one of community, creativity, and the lasting joy of giving back.
Under bright blue skies, 750 runners and 80 tiny Bubble Toddlers turned Taunton Racecourse into a kaleidoscope of powdered paint and foam bubbles on Saturday 17 May at our Colour Run and Bubble Toddle.
Hazel was cared for by St Margaret's at the end of her life. Her mum, Annie, and her childhood best friend, Dawn, are forever grateful for the care that she recieved.
